A New Generation

Do you remember when everybody on the block had their televisions tuned into "I Love Lucy" and the adults were sipping on Sanka instant coffee, Maxwell House, or Foldgers. To tell you the truth I do not remember that because I was born in the late 70s (Chuckle) I am sure that is how it really was though. Now,that is what I call just being in a "Comfort Zone.
I myself being a Coffee nerd,and doing research to find out what people want and what they will pay for the best coffee and beans. I was surprised with the results as stated in above, instead of Wine tasting many are having and going to Coffee tastings.
Also, remember when they said coffee was not really good for the body? Well not anymore because what I discovered was the best tasting coffee as well as the healthiest on the market today. For more than 100 years, this plantation has employed hundreds, even thousands, of coffee bean harvesters. These workers spend sun-up to sundown picking the fruit and extracting the beans. And they can eat as many sweet, bright-red berries as they want. Many of these pickers are 70, 80, even 90 years old, and the work tirelessly day in and day out. Where do they get their stamina? (Hint: it’s not from a caffeine buzz.)

Well, the new year looks good for coffee as studies continue to promote coffee's health benefits. Over the past ten years numerous researchers from all over the world have touted coffee's health benefits. A few studies have suggested that coffee may even prevent Alzheimers disease, diabetes, colon cancer, and numerous other ailments.
We are still in the early stages of confirming many of these studies, but if things continue, it looks like coffee may is poised for even greater consumption...yay!!
Can Coffee Cut a Woman's Stroke Risk?
Women who have at least one cup of coffee -- or even five cups -- daily may be reducing their risk of stroke by as much as 25 percent, new Swedish research shows.
And women who don't drink coffee at all may actually be increasing their risk for stroke, the researchers noted.
However, the researchers added, these findings are preliminary and should not cause any change in coffee-drinking habits.
"Results from our study in women showed that consumption of 1 to 5 cups of coffee per day was associated with a 22 to 25 percent lower risk of stroke, compared with consumption of less than 1 cup a day," said lead researchers Susanna Larsson, from the National Institute of Environmental Medicine at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm.
